Terms of Service

By using KAT Exchange, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You may be an individual or registered business, in the US or internationally.
• You must provide a valid government-issued ID or business registration.
• You must pass KYC verification.

• Provide accurate information.
• One account per person or entity.
• Keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

• All bids are sealed (confidential).
• Bids are legally binding commitments.
• You can INCREASE bids until the auction closes.
• You CANNOT decrease or withdraw bids.
• The winning bidder is obligated to pay.
• Minimum bid increment: $50 or 5% (whichever is higher).

• Pay within 5 days of auction close.
• Pay the full amount (bid + 10% buyer's premium + applicable sales tax).
• Collect the item within 7 business days.
• Failure to pay results in account suspension and cancellation.

• Buyer's premium: 10% of the winning bid.
• Sales tax: Illinois 6.25% where applicable (collected as a marketplace facilitator).
• Payment processing fees (if using card): 2.9%.
• No fees for browsing or bidding — only on winning.

• All assets are sold "AS IS".
• We provide condition grades (A+, A, B, C).
• Buyers are encouraged to inspect before bidding.
• No warranties are expressed or implied.
• No returns or refunds (except platform error).

• Bid manipulation or collusion.
• Fake or duplicate accounts.
• Bidding without intent to pay.
• Sharing account access.
• Attempting to hack the platform.
• Harassment of other users or staff.

• We may suspend accounts for violations.
• You may close your account at any time.
• Outstanding obligations survive termination.

• The KAT Exchange brand, code, and content are owned by us.
• You may not copy or reproduce them without permission.

• First, contact our support team.
• Disputes are resolved under the laws of the State of Illinois.
• Jurisdiction: the state and federal courts in Illinois, USA.
• Arbitration option per the Federal Arbitration Act.

• We are not liable for asset condition.
• We are not liable for indirect damages.
• Our liability is capped at the fees you paid us.
• We are not liable for force majeure.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the platform.

• The laws of the State of Illinois.
• United States federal law.

• We may modify these terms with 30 days' notice.
• Continued use constitutes acceptance.
