Asset Collection & Delivery

1. Buyer's Responsibility
- Collection is the buyer's responsibility.
- You must collect within 7 business days.
- Coordinate directly with Key Asset Technologies.
2. Collection Process
- Receive collection instructions after payment.
- Contact Key Asset Technologies to schedule.
- Bring the required documents.
3. What to Bring for Collection
- Government-issued photo ID.
- Printed payment receipt.
- Printed Winner Certificate.
- Authorization letter (if collecting for someone else).
- Suitable transportation.
4. Collection Deadlines
- 7 business days from payment confirmation.
- Extensions available on request (case-by-case).
- Beyond 7 days: storage fees apply.
5. Storage Fees (After 7 Days)
- Days 8–14: $50/day.
- Days 15–30: $100/day.
- After 30 days: item forfeited to the agency.
6. Delivery Arrangements
- KAT Exchange does NOT provide delivery.
- The buyer must arrange their own transport.
- Recommended logistics partners are available.
7. Large Asset Special Arrangements
- Server racks & full pallets: arrange a freight/LTL carrier.
- Bulk lots (multiple units): a box truck or van is recommended.
- Data center equipment: coordinate a loading-dock appointment in advance.
9. Inspection at Collection
- Inspect the item before signing acceptance.
- Once signed, no claims for damage.
- Take photos for your records.
10. International Buyers
- Export documentation may be required.
- Customs duties are the buyer's responsibility.
- Contact us for export support.
11. Asset Title Transfer
- Title documents are provided at collection.
- Ownership transfers upon full payment and collection.
- Serial numbers and asset tags are recorded on the receipt.
