1. Overview
This Tax Notice explains how VAT and related taxes are applied to purchases on KAT Exchange. It is provided for general information only and is not tax advice.

2. Selling Entity & VAT Registration

3. How VAT Is Applied
- UAE deliveries: standard-rated VAT at 5% is added to the winning bid plus buyer's premium.
- Exports (outside the UAE): 0% (zero-rated), subject to valid export evidence being retained.
- VAT is calculated on the subtotal = winning bid + 12.5% buyer's premium.

5. Currency

6. Export Evidence
- For zero-rated exports, you must provide and we must retain valid evidence of export (e.g. shipping and customs documentation) within the period required by law.

7. US-Origin Goods
- Certain inventory is sourced in the United States by Key Asset Technologies LLC (country of origin: USA) and imported via the UAE for onward sale. Customs and import duties in your destination country are your responsibility.
8. Invoices & Records
- A tax invoice is issued for each completed purchase and is available from your account.
- Retain invoices for your own tax and accounting records.
