Buyer Agreement

1. Purpose
This Buyer Agreement supplements the Terms of Service and governs your participation as a buyer on KAT Exchange. By placing a bid you accept this Agreement.
2. Buyer Verification (KYC)
- You must complete identity and, where applicable, business verification before bidding.
- We may set, adjust, or revoke a bidding limit at our discretion.
- You authorize us to verify the information you provide.
3. Bidding Commitment
- Each bid is an irrevocable, binding offer to buy at the bid price plus fees and taxes.
- You may increase but not decrease or withdraw a bid.
- Winning a lot creates a binding contract of sale with the UAE Branch entity.
5. Payment
- Payment is due within [PAYMENT_DEADLINE_DAYS] days of auction close (default 5).
- Accepted methods: bank wire transfer (recommended for orders above [WIRE_THRESHOLD]), card (Visa / Mastercard / Discover — American Express not accepted), and Tabby (BNPL, available to eligible GCC buyers for orders between [TABBY_MIN] and [TABBY_MAX]).
- Bank wire details: Bank [BANK_NAME]; Account name [ACCOUNT_NAME]; Account number [ACCOUNT_NUMBER]; IBAN [IBAN]; SWIFT [SWIFT_CODE].
- Title passes only upon receipt of cleared funds in full.
6. Non-Payment & Forfeiture
- Lots unpaid after [FORFEIT_AFTER_DAYS] days (default 7) may be forfeited and re-listed.
- Non-payment may result in suspension, loss of any deposit, and liability for our losses and costs.
7. Collection, Delivery & Risk
- Risk passes to you on collection or on hand-off to your nominated carrier.
- Inspect items on collection and document any pre-existing damage before signing acceptance.
- Storage fees may apply after [STORAGE_GRACE_PERIOD].
8. Condition & "AS IS" Acknowledgement
- You acknowledge all assets are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults and no warranty except as required by mandatory law.
- Condition grades are guidance only and do not constitute a warranty.
9. Export, Sanctions & Compliance
- You are responsible for complying with all import, export, customs, and sanctions laws applicable to your purchase.
- You confirm you are not a sanctioned party and will not re-export in violation of applicable law.

10. Data Sanitization
- We make commercially reasonable efforts to sanitize storage media, but you are responsible for verifying data erasure before use.
